Fellows' Prize
Submission Details
The Organising Committee of the Australian and New Zealand Endovascular Therapies Meeting will call for abstracts in April 2010 for the annual "ANZET Fellows' Prize". The prize will be awarded to the trainee who presents the most interesting and instructive report of an interventional procedure/case at the dedicated lunchtime session.
The closing date for abstract submissions will be Friday 11th June 2010 17:00 AEST.
Finalists
Finalists will need to give a 10-minute presentation (PowerPoint format, loaded onto the meeting server the day before) and respond to questions from the assessment panel and audience.
Successful finalists will be notified by the end of June, and must be available to present the case themselves. In the event of a non-appearance of the candidate, he/she will be ineligible, as an important feature of the prize is the ability to present in public.
Award Criteria
The finalists will be assessed according to three criteria: the content of the presentation (the case must be interesting and instructive; a good recovery from a bad decision will not make the cut), the quality of the presentation, and the ability of the candidate to respond to questions relating to the presentation. The winner will be awarded a prize of $1,000 AUS.
