Venue
The venue for both the ANZET 2009 Meeting and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand’s 2009 Annual Scientific Meeting is the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. This purpose built facility is set in 50 hectares of parks, gardens, museums, shopping malls and amusement areas.
Nestled on the shores of Darling Harbour, the venue has magnificent views of the city and is only a short walk to several attractions. Next to the Sydney Convention Centre is Harbourside which features and large number of accommodation options, shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes.
The Convention and Exhibition Centre comprises 5 exhibition halls each with a gross area of 5,000 square metres and a ceiling height of 10.5m. The academic sessions will take place in the Convention Centre and all lunches, morning and afternoon teas and post session drinks will be held in the exhibition area.
