Adelaide Airport is currently the fifth-largest domestic airport and sixth-largest international airport in Australia. It is the aviation gateway to South Australia, conveniently located just 7km from the city centre.
The international airport is just seven kilometres from the Centre, making a quick and economic taxi ride. The average return taxi fare costs $15; distance is 7.77kms and estimated travel time is 16 minutes. There is a designated taxi rank located at the left of the pedestrian plaza as you walk out of the terminal. Concierges provide a safe environment and allocate taxis to passengers. They can also organise taxis with wheelchair access, five-seaters and maxi taxis for larger groups or station wagons for large amounts of baggage.
There is a $3 levy added to fares for taxis leaving the airport.
If you wish to use public transport to/from Adelaide Airport, Adelaide Metro offers an express double decker bus service called JetExpress between the airport and the city. Adelaide Metro also offers a convenient JetBus service to Glenelg, West Beach and the City, servicing all stops en route. Both JetExpress and JetBus are Metroticket services. Single trip and daytrip tickets can be purchased from bus drivers.

Adelaide enjoys a Mediterranean climate, experiencing mild winters. Mornings and evenings can be brisk so make sure to pack a thick, warm jacket. Wear layers that can be worn as needed. Adelaide’s average temperature for August is 16°C.

Name badges will be given to all delegates on registration. We ask that you wear your badge at all times, including social functions. Entry tickets will be given for all social and optional events.
The Convention Centre has two undercover car parks accessible with the North Terrace and the Riverbank car parks. Both are located directly under the Centre and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Automated payment stations accept credit/debit cards (1.5% surcharge applicable).

Adelaide Metro is the public transport system of Adelaide, offering an integrated network of bus, tram, and train service throughout the metropolitan area.
The historic Adelaide Railway Station is located a two-minute walk from the Adelaide Convention Centre, and a Tram stop is just in front of the Railway Station.
The free City Connector bus is an easy way of navigating around Adelaide.
Adelaide is great to tour by bike as well. Including City of Adelaide’s Free Bikes, and bike sharing services like Ofo.
